Here is my final front cover. I slightly changed the layout to the page whilst in the process of completing my front cover.
So far, I am happy with the changes I have made. I think it looks clearer as well as better. I decided to remove the background for the main image (of the 6th form student) as I looked at other school publications as well as other magazines. I noticed that most magazines and school publications do not have a background to their main image. Instead, it isn on a plan background. However, the other pictures do. I showed this on my final front cover and I am happy with the decision I made. I added a speech bubble to a picture on my front cover to add a comical element to it, although it still related to the theme of the publication, school. This may appeal to younger dempgraphic rather than older students and parents.
