jHere is my double page spread finally! After debating if I should create a new one or not, I decided to stick to using pictures of Emeli Sande. I used inspiration from vibe magazine as their double page spread's have one large image on one side and an article on the other. I also used a quote from one of her songs in a different font and colour which makes the page look more interesting. What's more interesting is that I used Microsoft Publisher and not photoshop. After many failed attempts of trying to create my page, I decided that publisher is much more easier and quicker. Publisher also managed to create the same look I hoped to create so therefore it did'nt
matter if I used photoshop or not. Here, I used a software called Pixlr to create different fonts. It has a range of fonts ranging from retro to novelty. I decided to use a 'handwritting' font. This made my page look less formal and more colourful. The bright red goes well with the white background and black font. On pixlr you are also able to edit pictures. This was the clearest image I had of Emeli and with some
editing, the picture looked very professional. Also I put the magazine name behind the text by reducing the opacity of the text. By making the text a lighter red, this created a more of a colour scheme for my page which made it look moer interesting.
